Nutts Cup Team Profile: The Newly Weds and their Sidekick, the Rat-Dog Owner

I’ve been waiting for a chance to publicly make fun of your dog, Jordy, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity.

Second of all, congratulations to Ben and Marlaena on tying the knot last month! You guys are a model couple.

Celebrations aside, it’s unclear if the recent wedding will be a strength or a weakness for this team. A wise man (The CrossFit Insider) once told me his theory about weddings and testosterone levels. Essentially, The CrossFit Insider believes a wedding inevitably means a depletion in testosterone. Hopefully Ben will have had the chance to rebuild his manliness in time for next weekend’s Nutts Cup. If not, he’ll have to rely on Jordy to pick up the slack. Thank God Jordy can finally kip his pull-ups and get himself through the rings (In all seriousness, these two men are beasts and Marlaena is one of our top female athletes).
